Privacy Policy

1. Overview

CherryBowl (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates an AI-powered media compliance review platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that data. We take data handling seriously — both because it’s the right thing to do and because the media we process belongs to your business.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

Name, email address, company name, billing information, and authentication credentials when you create an account.

Submitted Media

Video, audio, image, and document files you submit for compliance review, along with associated metadata (file name, duration, campaign, creator handle).

Review Outputs

AI-generated transcripts, compliance scores, issue findings, evidence excerpts, recommendations, and approval decisions produced during review.

Usage Data

Log data, feature usage, API call patterns, and session information collected automatically as you use the platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Compliance Review: Processing submitted media against your defined policies to produce review decisions and reports.
  • Performance Analytics: Generating creator scorecards, campaign-level compliance trends, and historical performance reports accessible in your dashboard.
  • AI Model Improvement: Using anonymized and aggregated review data — stripped of identifying business information — to train, evaluate, and improve our AI review models. This includes transcript patterns, issue types, confidence scores, and compliance outcomes.
  • Prediction Tool Development: Building performance evaluation and prediction capabilities that help brands anticipate compliance risk before submission. This uses historical patterns from aggregated, de-identified data across our platform.
  • Service Operation: Authentication, billing, customer support, security monitoring, and platform maintenance.
  • Communications: Sending service notifications, product updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications.

4. Data Retention

We retain submitted media and review outputs for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter to support dispute resolution and audit requirements. Specifically:

  • Submitted media files: retained for the duration of your subscription, then deleted upon account closure or written request
  • Review reports and transcripts: retained for 24 months by default to support performance trend analysis
  • Aggregated, de-identified model training data: retained indefinitely as it contains no personally identifiable information
  • Account and billing data: retained as required by applicable law

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

  • Infrastructure providers (cloud storage, compute) under data processing agreements
  • AI model providers used to process transcripts and analyze media, under strict confidentiality terms
  • Analytics and monitoring tools for platform health and security
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Data portability — export your review history in structured format
  • Opt out of your data being used in aggregated model training (contact us to request this)

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a security issue, please contact us at erick@cherrybowl.xyz.
